“There's not a prison ... that will ever shut me up”: Steve Bannon condemns judge ordering him to report to prison.

Steve Bannon on Thursday condemned a judge for revoking his bail and ordering him to report to prison next month, saying “there’s nothing that can shut me up.”

“This is about shutting down the MAGA movement, shutting down grassroots conservatives, shutting down President Trump. Not only are we winning, we are going to prevail and every number and every poll shows that,” the former White House chief strategist for Donald Trump and right-wing talk show host said in brief remarks after his court hearing. “There's not a prison built or a jail built that will ever shut me up.”

A federal judge in Washington, D.C., ordered Bannon to report to prison July 1. He had been free on bail while he appealed his conviction for contempt of Congress after he defied the January 6th committee's subpoena. Bannon is set to spend about four months in prison.

The U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia or the U.S. Supreme Court could intervene on his appeal and stay his sentencing, but that is considered a longshot: In March, SCOTUS refused to hear an appeal by former Trump adviser Peter Navarro, who was also convicted for refusing to comply with a January 6th committee subpoena.

Bannon appeared to predict he would win an appeal at SCOTUS — and that Trump would end up being victorious in November.

“All victory to MAGA. We're going to win this,” he said. “We're going to win at the Supreme Court, and more importantly, we're going to win on November 5 in an amazing landslide with the Senate, the House, and also Donald J. Trump back as president of the United States.”
