The rapper A$AP Rocky was granted bail after he was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport, on Wednesday morning. He posted $550,000 in bail.
A$AP Rocky, 33, whose real name is Rakim Mayers was picked up by the police at LAX after he arrived on a private jet, in connection with a shooting in Hollywood last November. He was vacationing with his pregnant girlfriend singer Rihanna in Barbados. Rihanna, 34, announced that she was expecting her first child with A$AP Rocky, in January, this year.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Mayers reportedly fired several shots and wounded a man during an argument in his L.A. home last year. The police used a battering ram to get on the property and detectives were seen removing some boxes from there.
The police were keeping an eye out for Mayers for a while and knew that he would be returning to Los Angeles, today.
