"2 million new Black jobs": Biden accidentally says Trump's "Black jobs" phrase during speech.

President Joe Biden on Friday slipped up and made a joke about who will get the next “Black job.”

“We've centered racial equity as the center of everything we do,” the president said during remarks at White House brunch that celebrated Black excellence. “With your help, in just three-and-a-half years, we've created over 2 million new Black jobs for Black — Black Americans.”

Biden then paused and the crowd cheered after he made the slipup.

“By the way, the next Black job to be filled is as president of the United States of America,” Biden continued.

The line was a reference to Donald Trump’s claim that immigrants coming across the southern border are “taking Black jobs.” When he was asked, at the National Association of Black Journalists annual convention in July, to define a “Black job,” the Republican presidential candidate said, “A Black job is anybody that has a job. That's what it is,” drawing laughs from the room.
