Rep. Roy (R-TX) uses posters of dead migrants as props while pressing Homeland Security Sec. Mayorkas on immigration.

Republican Chip Roy (R-TX) used posters of dead migrants as props while pressing Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on immigration.

While testifying at an oversight hearing before the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday, Mayorkas was attacked verbally by the congressman.

Rep. Roy showed posters of dead bodies of migrants lying on the fields and a trailer filled with dead bodies in South Texas to draw attention to the chaos going on at the southern border at present.

He showed pictures of the facts he claimed were true and tried to portray the lawlessness going on in the state. He showed posters of a little girl lying in the desert only to be rescued by the ranchers.

He also claimed that people around the country are dying because of the fentanyl pouring in from across the border.

Rep. Roy blamed Sec. Mayorkas for the lack of security at the border and said he knew what, “has inspired people to come here, harming Texas and harming this country,” and that he was ignoring it.
