Johnny Depp describes to the court a fight with Amber Heard over a postnuptial agreement during a defamation case.
Johnny Depp is suing his ex-wife Amber Heard for $50 million over an op-ed she wrote in The Washington Post detailing her experiences as a survivor of domestic violence.
While testifying in a courtroom in Virginia, Depp described a fight he had with Amber Heard portraying himself as a victim of violence and verbal abuse. He described Heard as irate and possessed during the fight. Depp said that he tried to remove himself from that situation as he would normally do and tried to calm her down. He tried to explain to Heard that he was not there to harm her, but the situation went out of control. He reenacted an alleged violent encounter with Heard during his defamation trial.
He said that it wasn’t nice to be called an “ass-kisser to lawyers or a pussy that didn’t stand up for her or fight for her.”
