The Pentagon now admits it made a “grave mistake” when the military carried out a deadly U.S drone strike in the capital of Afghanistan. The rare admission comes after New York Times reporter Mattieu Aikins visited the site the next day and discovered the strike had killed 10 people, including 7 children. He joined The Recount Daily Pod to discuss his reporting.
