"The American people are going to pick hope every time": Contributor warns about Kamala Harris' strength on Fox News.

Vice President Kamala Harris has momentum — and one Fox News contributor wants people to know that means she can beat Donald Trump and win the presidential election.

“She’s running as a ‘happy warrior.’ She's out there making the case for a positive view of America. You might disagree with it, but she's out there with enthusiasm,” Fox News contributor Marie Harf said on “Outnumbered,” on Friday afternoon. “And Trump is out there with a lot of anger, divisiveness, bitterness. Those two comparisons — the American people are going to pick hope every single time.”

“I'd say more of a toy soldier,” “Outnumbered” co-host Emily Compagno responded.

Harf’s comments critical of Trump came after the “Outnumbered” hosts discussed popular right-wing podcaster Joe Rogan predicting that Harris would win the election in November because of the media coverage.

“She’s gonna win,” Rogan said on his show Tuesday. “I feel like we are in this very bizarre time where people are giving into the bullshit in a way that I never suspected people would before. They just want no Trump, no matter what, and they’re willing to gaslight themselves — and by the way, I think Hillary could win.”

While Harf, a Democrat, argued the news media is now pressing Harris on answering tough questions before the press, she said Harris had “reset the entire race” in a way that’s favorable for her.

“Look at the polls. She is back where any typical sort of Democrat would be,” Harf said. “Democrats knew we were going to lose with Joe Biden, and she has coalesced the party and she has brought in enthusiasm.”

Harris, meanwhile, secured enough delegate votes Friday afternoon to officially become the Democratic presidential nominee Monday, when the roll call finishes.
