House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) blasted the Democrats for not speaking out against the violent attacks on the pro-life organization in Wisconsin and called it a “heinous attack” while speaking at a press conference today.
The office of Wisconsin Family Action, a political action committee that lobbied against abortion was vandalized and damaged by fire a few days ago, in what the police called an arson attack.
Stefanik claimed, “What makes Republicans consistent is we speak out against violent acts, no matter who commits them”.
She alleged that the Democratic party was inconsistent and spoke out only during certain times. Stefanik went on to say that the Republicans spoke out during the violent attack on Capitol Hill on January 6 and during the Black Lives Matter protests.
Stefanik has been a strong advocate for overturning the historic Roe v Wade decision by Supreme Court and endorsed the Born-Alive Protection Act.
“I am ultra MAGA, and I’m proud of it,” was her response when asked whether she was one at the same press conference.
