One of the new strategies Democrats might be deploying is … cursing.
“Obviously, the Democrats are mad, the base is mad. We’ve noticed this uptick in the use of expletives in both chambers by Democrats. I have a list,” a reporter said to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries’ weekly press conference on Thursday.
“Am I on that list?” Jeffries asked.
The reporter assured the New York Democrat that he wasn’t on the list, but The Recount collected a list of its own of Democrats in Congress who have incorporated profanity into their public comments recently.
“I don’t swear in public very well, but we have to f*** Trump!” Rep. Maxine Dexter said at a rally. “Please don’t tell my children that I just did that!”
“What they meant to say? F*** Donald Trump and Elon Musk!” Rep. Mark Pocan yelled to a crowd.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett was asked recently, “If you could speak directly to Elon Musk, what would you say?” She replied, “F*** off.”
“I’m from Jersey, f*** Trump!” said Rep. Donald Norcross.
“I’ll be the only Democrat that’s going to tell America the truth about shutting the government down, and that would be a f***ing disaster,” Sen. John Fetterman told reporters on camera.
“The president of the United States was sitting up there, lying his a** off,” Rep. Adam Smith said about Donald Trump. “You can’t make this sh** up.”
“Elon Musk spent $277 million to buy Donald Trump’s a** and put it in the White House, right?” Rep. Marc Veasey recently said.
“If the American people had known that this sh** was going to be this crazy, I also don’t think that they would have voted for Trump,” Rep. Marc Veasey said at a press conference.
“Those in my district who voted for Trump did not vote for this sh**storm,” Rep. Andrea Salinas said.
“Why do we have to accept a half-a**ed over catastrophic?” Sen. Tim Kaine questioned recently in a hearing.
Many Democrats, in coordinated social media videos, all said “sh** that ain’t true,” about Trump claiming, “When I win, I will immediately bring prices down starting on day one.”
