MLB Is in a Work Stoppage for First Time in 3 Decades

For the first time in nearly three decades, MLB is in a work stoppage after the owners initiated a lockout. Players’ union representative Max Scherzer says the athletes just want a competitive league: “When we don’t have that, we have issues.”
