“I’ve now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala”: Trump stages shift at a Pennsylvania McDonald’s.

Donald Trump shut down a Pennsylvania McDonald’s for a campaign photo-op Sunday.

“I really wanted to do this all my life,” he said before he began his shift.

The Republican nominee worked the fry station for about five minutes before he spent another 15 minutes at the drive-through window in Bucks County. The Secret Service vetted all the “customers” ahead of time — although no one actually ordered or paid for any food. They were simply given whatever Trump handed them.

“Now I’ve worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala,” Trump said, claiming Vice President Kamala Harris, his Democratic presidential opponent, has lied about working at a McDonald’s during college in the 1980s.

When asked during the photo-op if he supports raising the minimum wage — Pennsylvania follows the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour — Trump would not directly answer the question:

“Well, I think this: I think these people work hard. They're great. And I just saw something, the process, it’s beautiful. It's a beautiful thing to see,” he said. “These are great franchises and produce a lot of jobs. And great people work in here, too.”

“I could do this all day. I wouldn't mind this job. I like this job,” the noted McDonald’s enthusiast said. “I think I might come back and do it again.”
