After a brief “will he won’t he” turnaround in the news cycle, it’s official: Tom Brady is retiring. In fact, Brady has more Super Bowl wins than any individual franchise, having won a seventh championship just last year with his last team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It all adds up to make Brady not just the greatest NFL player ever, but “quite possibly the greatest American athlete ever,” in Will’s estimation.
