“You butch body bigot!”: Protesters tased and arrested at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene town hall in Georgia.

Two protesters were tased, at least six were ejected, and three were arrested during a town hall that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene held in Georgia on Tuesday evening, according to police.

“Are you really doing this?” one protester said as two officers pulled him from the event.

About 150 people attended the event in Greene’s Georgia district in Cobb County. The police sergeant confirmed 30 cops from five agencies provided security — a ratio of approximately one officer for every five audience members. Protesters also lined the streets outside the venue.

“You butch body bigot!” one demonstrator yelled as officers escorted them out, a reference to Rep. Jasmine Crockett’s (D-TX) “bleach blonde, bad built, butch body” insult toward Greene during a House hearing last year.

Greene’s decision to host the town hall went against official guidance from Republican House leadership, which is encouraging virtual events instead. For her part, Greene appeared to lean into it, calling out people who interrupted her:

“Protest is outside. Bye!” she said to the woman who hurled the “butch body bigot” remark at her.

“This is a peaceful town hall,” Greene said as officers took one person into custody.

“Free Kilmar!” one man yelled, referring to Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Maryland father and undocumented immigrant with protected legal status who the Trump administration admitted it wrongly deported to El Salvador.

“What, is that the illegal alien?” Greene responded.
