“She seems to have a nice way about her”: Donald Trump and Kamala Harris try to say 3 nice things about each other.

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris were both asked to say three nice things about each other during their respective Univision town halls.

Harris and Trump participated in separate Univision town halls, where the same audience member Teresa Djedjro asked both candidates to name three virtues possessed by their opponent.

While first hedging that Harris that “harmed our country horribly," Trump later said that Harris had "an ability to survive."

However, the Republican nominee hedged his compliment by noting, "She was out of the race and all of a sudden she's running for president."

Trump also said about Harris "seems to have some pretty long-time friendships" and has "a nice way about her."

The former president later continued, "But in another way, I think it's very bad for our country, very bad for our country."

In her response, Vice President Harris noted that she does not admire Trump's “us-versus-them” political approach and said, "I think Donald Trump loves his family."

"And I think that's very important," the Democratic nominee said. "I think family is one of the most important things that we can prioritize."

"But I don't really know him, to be honest with you," Harris said. "I only met him one time on the debate stage."

"I'd never met him before," the vice president noted. "So I don't really have much more to offer you."
