Press Sec. Psaki asked why people continue to vote for a party that opposes abortion, when 70% of the public favors it.

While aboard Air Force One en route to Alabama, Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked why people continue to vote for a party that opposed abortion when a majority of the public favored it. She redirected the question toward those who voted that way, that is declining a woman her abortion rights.

In a separate statement from the White House today, President Joe Biden said there were no details on whether the Supreme Court draft was genuine and whether it was the final decision of the court.

“If the Court does overturn Roe, it will fall on our nation’s elected officials at all levels of government to protect a woman’s right to choose. And it will fall on voters to elect pro-choice officials this November,” the statement said.

All the debates and discussions are regarding a leaked report that the Supreme court plans to strike down the landmark Roe v Wade decision that gives a woman the right to abortion.
