President Biden, speaking at the Detroit Auto Show, touts his support for labor unions. A big part of Biden’s speech and visit at the Detroit Auto Show was touting the new legislation in the recently passed Inflation Reduction Act that dedicated millions and millions of dollars to electric automobiles and the infrastructure to sustain their use.

PRESIDENT BIDEN: “Now, we're choosing to build a better America. An America that’s confronting the climate crisis with America's workers leading the way. We're rebuilding an economy, a clean energy economy, and we're doing it from the bottom up and the middle out. I'm so tired of trickle-down, I can't stand it. By the way, remember, when the middle class grows, the middle class grows everybody does well, the poor have a way up and the wealthy do very well. And by the way, don't forget middle class built America and unions built the middle class. That's a fact.”
