While speaking at the Volvo Group Powertrain plant in Hagerstown, Maryland, President Biden commented that the Republican agenda for the midterms is lacking actual policy. President Biden also called out Republican politicians for voting against the infrastructure bill but then requesting funding from the bill for projects in their district. As the midterms are only a few week away, each political party is ramping up the attacks on the other. A few weeks ago, Republican House Minority Leader, Kevin McCarthy, released the House Republican agenda called “Commitment to America.” However, the agenda was criticized for its lack of concrete legislation proposals.
BIDEN: “They love to attack the Democrats, they say for what we've done, but they really don't want us to see what their plan is. I doubt any of you can tell me what the Republican re-election plan is this time out? What’s their platform if they take control of Congress?”
