Would Logan Paul actually face off with Donald Trump? They “entertained” the thought Wednesday — and then agreed to record a podcast together.
The social media influencer and professional wrestler met the former president at Mar-a-Lago on Wednesday ahead of Trump appearing on Paul’s popular podcast.
Trump confirmed he will appear on the Thursday episode of Paul's “Impaulsive” podcast. The YouTube star has also pushed to interview Trump’s opponent, President Joe Biden.
Trump and Paul in their meeting also pretended to stage a WWE-style faceoff (Trump himself previously appeared on WWE as a special guest), and Trump handed Paul a T-shirt with his mugshot printed on it.
“No way! You’re a gangster!” Paul said to Trump as he handed him the shirt.
“Can you believe it? This is what we’re reduced to,” Trump said.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee also gave Paul a “Make America Great Again” hat.
“They sell for a lot of money, these things,” Trump said, referring to his merchandise, which he has increasingly pushed to help fund his presidential campaign and to pay his litany of legal bills.
