Nikki Haley vows to stay in the presidential race after conceding the New Hampshire primary to Donald Trump.

After losing to former President Donald Trump in New Hampshire’s Republican primary Tuesday night, former South Carolina governor and UN ambassador Nikki Haley vowed to stay in the presidential race:

“I want to congratulate Donald Trump on his victory tonight. He earned it. And I want to acknowledge that. Now, you’ve all heard the chatter among the political class. They’re falling all over themselves, saying this race is over. Well, I have news for all of them. New Hampshire is first in the nation. It is not the last in the nation. This race is far from over. There are dozens of states left to go.”

The defeat was a significant blow to Nikki Haley’s hopes of winning the Republican presidential nomination — the Granite State was viewed as Haley’s best chance to win a state and gain momentum in the primary contests, as she trails Donald Trump by large margins nationwide.
