Nikki Haley drops out of the 2024 race after Super Tuesday: “The time has now come to suspend my campaign.”

Nikki Haley dropped out of the 2024 presidential race after she lost almost all the Super Tuesday Republican races to Donald Trump.

“Just over a year ago, I launched my campaign for president. When I began, I said the campaign was grounded in my love for our country,” Haley said Wednesday morning in Charleston, South Carolina. “Just last week, my mother, a first-generation immigrant, got to vote for her daughter for president — only in America. I am filled with the gratitude for the outpouring of support we’ve received from all across our great country.”

“But the time has now come to suspend my campaign,” she continued. “I said I wanted Americans to have their voices heard. I have done that. I have no regrets.”

“Although I will no longer be a candidate, I will not stop using my voice for the things I believe in,” the former United Nations ambassador added.

She did not endorse Trump, but did “congratulate” him on becoming the party’s presumptive nominee.
