Key witness testifies he “speculated” about when Fulton County DA Fani Willis’ relationship with top prosecutor started.

Terrence Bradley, Nathan Wade’s former law partner and one-time divorce attorney, testified on Tuesday that he had been “speculating” about when Wade's relationship with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis started.

Ashleigh Merchant, an attorney for Trump co-defendant and former campaign official Michael Roman, asked Bradley about him previously stating that he thought the relationship had begun before Willis hired Wade.

“I was speculating,” Bradley said. “No one told me I was speculating.”

Merchant continued to press Bradley on whether he had witnessed Willis and Wade together before Willis hired the top prosecutor.

“I never witnessed anything,” Bradley continued. “It was speculation. I can't tell you anything specific, if that's what you're asking.”

Attorneys for Donald Trump and his co-defendants have argued that Willis’ relationship with Wade began before she hired him to prosecute the Georgia election interference case. They are seeking to remove Willis over the relationship and not disclosing it, arguing that she personally benefited from the payments that Wade received from Fulton County.
