"It takes two to tango": Trump stresses his "good" relationship with Putin in front of Ukraine President Zelenskyy.

Donald Trump on Friday stressed his "good" relationship with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in front of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"So, we [Zelenskyy and Trump] have a very good relationship, and I also have a very good relationship, as you know, with President Putin," Trump said as he met with the Ukrainian president in New York City.

The meeting marks the first time in five years that the two have met. Both Trump and his running mate, JD Vance, have voiced criticism of providing U.S. aid to Ukraine. Earlier this week, the Republican nominee asserted that Ukraine should've made concessions to Russia prior to the Russian invasion in February 2022.

"And I think if we win, I think we're going to get it resolved very quickly," the Republican presidential candidate said. "I really think we're going to get it."

“I hope we have more good relations with us," Zelenskyy said.

"Oh, I see," the former American president said, laughing. "But, you know, it takes two to tango, you know, and we will — we're gonna have a good meeting today."
