Infowars conspiracy theorist Alex Jones was questioned regarding him calling Judge Bellis a “tyrant” in court by the plaintiff’s lawyer, Christopher Mattei. Alex Jones is currently on trial to determine the amount of damages he must pay to the Sandy Hook families that sued him due to him spreading the lie that the Sandy Hook massacre was a hoax.
MATTEI: “And you called this judge a tyrant? Correct?”
JONES: “Yes.”
MATTEI: “Okay. And you actually use that word a lot with your audience, you call people tyrants, don't you?”
JONES: “Only when they act like it.”
MATTEI: “Okay, and the way that you've been conveying to your audience Judge Bellis has been acting like a tyrant is by showing her with lasers coming out of her eyes. Right? You know you did that.”
JONES: “I didn't direct that. First time I saw it was in court.”
MATTEI: “Oh so you’ve been watching us.”
JONES: “Yeah. I've been watching.”
