Barack Obama indicated he was biting his tongue at a Pittsburgh rally Thursday night after asking the crowd if they thought Donald Trump has ever changed a diaper.
“I don’t have to tell a lot of you, raising kids is hard. And she wants to make it easier to afford stuff like a crib, or a car seat, or diapers,” Obama said of Kamala Harris, while campaigning for the vice president and Democratic presidential nominee in the battleground state. “I remember buying diapers. I remember the first time I went in the store, right after Malia was born, I was like, what? That’s how much diapers cost?”
“I remember changing diapers,” he continued. “You think Donald Trump ever changed a diaper?”
The former president paused for over 10 seconds, chuckling, before pointing to someone in the audience who shouted, “His own!”
“I almost said that, but I decided I shouldn’t say it,” Obama laughed.
