Fox News’ Jesse Watters on Monday called Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris a “princess” while mocking her views on price-gouging and the economy.
“Tonight, are we going to hear anything about what Kamala Harris believes in?” Watters said during an interview with Rep. Jared Moskowitz during the Democratic National Convention. “Because the only thing we heard she believes in is price controls. The princess is just going to tell us what the cost of bacon is going to be.”
The Fox host and Florida congressman then got into a back and forth playing with the multiple meanings of the word “transition.”
“Well, I think she's going to do that on Thursday. I think what you're going to hear really tonight and then tomorrow is, we are transitioning,” Moskowitz said. “The party is transitioning.”
Watters: “You’re transitioning. You’re going from a man to a woman.”
Moskowitz: “Well, we’re transitioning from old to young.”
Watters: “OK, that type of transition.”
“An age transition, yeah,” Moskowitz said. “The party is moving obviously. We’re going to a different generation of leaders.”
“This is Joe Biden’s swan song, right? This is retirement for Joe Biden. It’s at the end,” Moskowitz continued. “Maybe him and Trump could finally play that round of golf when they’re both in retirement after Kamala wins.”
