From couch jokes to Vice President Kamala Harris officially accepting the Democratic nomination for president, it was a historic and memorable final night of the DNC on Thursday.
Here are some notable moments from the final evening of the Democratic National Convention: "I wouldn't trust them to move my couch," Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren said, joking about Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance by leaning into a false rumor about Vance.
"Donald Trump is an unserious man," Harris said in her nomination acceptance speech.
"Kamala's been Black a lot longer than Trump's been a Republican," comedian D.L. Hughley said, referencing Trump falsely suggesting that Harris "turned Black."
"Unlike Donald Trump, our patriotism is more than some damn slogan on a hat," Florida Rep. Maxwell Frost said.
"I am so impressed with how large this AI-generated crowd looks," House Democratic Caucus Vice Chair Ted Lieu said sarcastically, ribbing Trump's false claim about AI-generated crowds at Harris' campaign events.
And Harris during her acceptance speech quoted advice her mother gave her: "Never do anything half-assed."
