DNC Night 3 in 60 seconds

From another massive Project 2025 book appearance to an Oprah speech, it was a memorable third night at the DNC in Chicago on Wednesday.

Here are a few notable moments:

"Kamala Harris!" Oprah said, using her signature voice in support of the Democratic presidential candidate.

"I'm Pete Buttigieg, and you might recognize me from Fox News," the transportation secretary said during his speech from the Democratic National Convention stage.

Actress and comedian Mindy Kaling, who hosted later in the evening, joked that people may recognize her as "the woman who courageously outed Kamala Harris as Indian" while she filmed a cooking video in 2019.

"You ever seen a document that could kill a small animal and democracy at the same time?" comedian Kenan Thompson joked while he held the large copy of Project 2025 that has made a few appearances during speakers' speeches at the convention.

"We are the party of real freedom," Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said.

"We love a dad in plaid," Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar said during her DNC speech, referring to vice presidential candidate Tim Walz.

"It's the honor of my life to accept your nomination for vice president," Walz told the delegates at the DNC.

Walz said of his time as Minnesota's governor: "So, while other states were banning books from their schools, we were banishing hunger from ours.”
