President Biden expressed his concern about a leaked report that a Supreme Court draft plans to overturn the Roe v Wade law while talking to reporters at Andrew Air Force Base before flying off to Alabama.

When asked if the Senate should end the filibuster to codify Roe, “I am not prepared to make those judgements,” he said.

But President Biden said that the codification of Roe makes a lot of sense. He goes on to say that since ancient times the mainstream religions have been trying to conclude what is the existence of human life and being- is it at six weeks, at six months, or at quickening as argued by Thomas Aquinas, the Italian philosopher, and priest.

He also said that it concerned him a lot that after 50 years women would not have the right to choose whether they want an abortion.

“But even more equally as profound as the rationale used, it would mean that every other decision related to the notion of privacy is thrown into question,” President Biden said.
