A new generation of Black investors is emerging, and this time, with cryptocurrency on their minds and in their wallets. Crypto is becoming increasingly popular with African Americans – an estimated 23% own the currency, compared to just 11% of white Americans. Many Black people see crypto as a path towards economic freedom and empowerment, two things that have eluded them in the past.
