The U.S. Senate on Tuesday night approved a $95 billion foreign aid package for Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan.

The 79-18 vote came after the House in bipartisan fashion Saturday passed four separate bills — including a bill requiring TikTok’s parent company to divest from the social media app in nine months — to send foreign aid to various countries.

The package sends about $61 billion in aid to Ukraine, including replenishing the U.S. weapons stockpile previously depleted by Russia’s war on the country; sends Israel $17 billion in offensive and defensive weapons, while also providing $9 billion in humanitarian aid for Gaza and other conflict zones; and sends about $8.1 billion in aid for countries in the Indo-Pacific region to deter China.

President Joe Biden is expected to sign the package when it reaches his desk.

Almost all Democrats and most Republicans backed the measure, noting that Ukraine is running out of munitions to stave off Russian advances. About a dozen Republicans changed their vote in support of the measure after they opposed an earlier version in February.
