Trump Standing Order "Ludicrous" Say Trump's Own Staff

“Ludicrous” “ridiculous” - according to fresh CNN reporting, these are the words used by former Trump officials when asked if Trump - as he claims - had a standing order to declassify documents taken from the White House and subsequently stored at his Mar-a-Lago estate. CNN reached out to 18 former Trump Administration officials for comment on the former President’s claims, and each of them “told us they'd never heard of any such order being issued during their time working for Trump.” Ever in the headlines, Trump is now celebrating a partial victory in the ongoing classified documents case, as the judge who originally approved the search warrant on his property has now asked the government to unseal the affidavit prompting the search - with redactions to protect sensitive information and key witnesses. Government officials are concerned that even with redactions, its case may be weakened by the unsealing. The judge will review redactions next week.
