Chaos erupted at a town hall in Idaho hosted by the Kootenai County Republican Central Committee when a woman was forcibly removed after yelling out concerns regarding the potential repeal of Medicaid expansion and other legislative issues.
Teresa Borrenpohl, a former Democratic state House candidate in Idaho, was at Coeur d’Alene High School, where Republican legislators had gathered to provide updates on the current legislative session, local station KTVB reported. “Is this a town hall or a lecture?” she called out to the members on stage reportedly during a discussion about reproductive rights legislation.
Two women present at the event told KTVB, “the incident was violent and confusing because no one knew who the men were that had grabbed her.” Borrenpohl screamed, “who the f*** are these men?” as unidentified security officers attempted to restrain her and tackle her to the ground. Some audience members could be heard telling the officers that they were hurting Borrenpohl and asked for the men to show their badges.
