White House COVID-19 response coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha says the U.S. may face a shortage of booster doses this fall.

JHA: So we have taken money from other really important priorities like having a stockpile of test and having a stockpile of personal protective equipment, PPE took those dollars and put them into buying vaccines for the fall and winter because time was running out. We needed to get in there and make sure that America was not way behind every other country in the world. So the good news is we've been able to do that. We're still working on trying to pull more resources from other places. I would like to get to a point where every adult in America who Wants a vaccine can get one. I'm hopeful. We will be there. We're not quite there yet. In terms of how many vaccine doses, we've been able to buy, what's really limited us is a lack of resources.
