Donald Trump really likes saying that Jews who vote for Democrats “should have their head examined.”
Within the last four months or so, Trump has used the language repeatedly.
On Wednesday morning, Trump called into “Fox & Friends” and said, “I think that any Jewish person who votes for a Democrat, or in this case, these people, but who votes for a Democrat, should have their head examined.”
In two interviews late last month, the former president repeated the phrasing. Trump told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, “Jewish people — if you’re Jewish and you vote for Biden, or the Democrats, or Kamala or whoever’s going to run — I guess it’s going to be her — but if you voted for her or the Democrats, you should have your head examined.”
And on the radio show “Sid & Friends In The Morning,” Trump said, “Frankly, any Jewish person that voted for her, or him or whoever it’s going to be — I assume it’s going to be her, — should have their head examined.” In the same interview, Trump didn’t push back on the host, who called Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, a “crappy” and “horrible Jew.”
Trump used the phrasing at least twice prior to the three most recent instances. Speaking to reporters in Atlanta in April, Trump said, “Any Jewish person that votes for a Democrat or votes for Biden should have their head examined.” And in a video in May, he said, “Any Jewish person that votes for a Democrat or votes for Biden should have their head examined.”
This isn’t the first time Trump has attacked American Jewish people who have voted for Democrats.
