While speaking to supporters in Nashua, New Hampshire, after winning the state’s Republican primary Tuesday night, former President Donald Trump railed against former South Carolina governor and UN ambassador Nikki Haley’s speech after she lost.
“I felt I should do this because I find in life you can’t let people get away with bullshit. Okay? You can’t. You just can’t do that,” the former president said after spending the majority of his victory speech complaining about Haley’s remarks an hour prior.
“And when I watched her in the fancy dress — that probably wasn’t so fancy — come up, I said, ‘What’s she doing? We won,’ Trump told the crowd.
Haley touted her performance in New Hampshire and said that she “got close to half of the vote.”
She also vowed to stay in the presidential race. “There are dozens of states left to go,” Haley said.
Additionally, Haley hit Trump and President Joe Biden for their age and needled Trump for appearing to confuse her for former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
