The Santa Fe Sheriff's Office has released new evidence in the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins on the set of "Rust."

The Santa Fe Sheriff's Office has released new evidence in the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins, the Ukrainian cinematographer, on the set of “Rust” in New Mexico.

The video showed chaotic moments after the fatal shooting on the set of the film and also actor Alec Baldwin’s initial interview with the police.

The police read out the Miranda rights to Baldwin, who then asked if he was charged with the crime. They explained that they were only trying to gather facts related to the incident.

Baldwin narrated that Hutchins handed him the gun during the rehearsal which he put in the holster. He assumed that she properly handled the gun as she was doing it for the past two weeks.

But as he pulled it out slowly and turned to cock the gun, it went off and Hutchins fell to the ground. Baldwin claimed that Hutchins and director Joel Souza, were standing in positions, “they wouldn't ordinarily be in because they assumed it was an empty cold gun.”

When asked if he thought that someone would do that on purpose, he said he didn’t think so.
