Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH), without any evidence, speculates that the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago was obviously “suspect.”

Ohio Representative Mike Turner (R-OH), speculates that the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago was obviously “suspect.” As the country awaits a decision on whether or not the Department of Justice will be forced to release the affidavit that prompted the search of Mar-A-Lago, a consistent drumbeat of partisan opinion on both sides has rolled out. Supporters of Donald Trump claim the search was illegitimate and out of kilter with the treatment meted out to Hillary Clinton, while observers on the left are supportive of the Attorney General, Merrick Garland, who was blocked from becoming a Supreme Court justice ahead of the 2020 election.

TURNER: Obviously, this is a suspect right where you have the rival of President Biden, you have the Attorney General himself having his career derailed from headed toward the Supreme Court by Donald Trump. And and you have this unequal application of a law where Hillary Clinton had accusations of the same thing of classified material.
