President Biden on Vice President Harris: “Kamala won’t be the last woman to be vice president or president.”

At an event hosted by President Biden at the White House to celebrate the Jewish new year, President Biden said that Vice President Kamala Harris won’t be the last woman to be the Vice President or President. President Biden was with his wife, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and the Vice President, Kamala Harris, and her husband, Doug Emhoff. Doug is the first Second Gentleman and the first jewish spouse of a Vice President. Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, was celebrate this past Monday, kicking off the Jewish ten high holy days which culminates in the celebration of Yom Kippur on Wednesday, October 5th.

BIDEN: “As you're about to find out, Doug and I married way above our station. We've already seen one example of that and you'll soon see another. Doug, thank you for the introduction. And Doug's right, you're the first but Kamala often says, you won't be the last. Kamala won't be the last woman to be Vice President or President.”
