A BFD-Day for Biden. The president signed his sweeping trillion-dollar bipartisan infrastructure bill into law on Monday. Now, all eyes turn to part two of the White House’s economic agenda. In Alabama, Amazon workers may get a second chance to vote on whether to form the company’s first unionized warehouse in the country. A federal labor official has found that Amazon’s anti-union tactics tainted an election held this past spring sufficiently enough to scrap the results. Back in February, President Biden warned Amazon that there should be “no intimidation, no coercion, no threats, no anti-union propaganda” ahead of the vote. In Silicon Valley, Apple has reportedly worked out a sweet deal to pay for its digital ID rollouts. Unfortunately, it may be at your expense. And in Wisconsin, the National Guard is on alert as the city of Kenosha braces for a verdict in the homicide trial of Kyle Rittenhouse.
