No Labels announces it has asked the Department of Justice to investigate alleged “conspiracy” to block ballot efforts.

No Labels, a group preparing to run a third-party presidential ticket, has asked the Department of Justice to investigate whether Democratic and Republican strategists are engaged in an “unlawful conspiracy to subvert Americans’ voting rights,” the group announced on Thursday.

“This is a big day for No Labels because we are announcing today that No Labels has filed a formal complaint with the United States Department of Justice regarding an alleged unlawful conspiracy to subvert Americans’ voting rights and shut down the organization’s effort to secure ballot access in the 2024 presidential election. What’s happened is that last week we authored and transmitted a detailed eight-page letter to the Department of Justice, sent it to Kristen Clark, Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division, Nicole Argentieri, Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Criminal Division, and what we did is we outlined our complaint in detail. And we also discussed in detail the evidence we have developed that we believe supports our allegations of what’s going on here, and we have requested a formal investigation into the matter by the Department of Justice to get to the bottom of this once and for all and to determine if laws have been violated based on the evidence that we have presented to the Department of Justice,” attorney and No Labels volunteer Dan Webb said.
