Maine Director of Public Safety says officials are “actively searching” for the suspect of the Lewiston mass shootings.

After mass shootings in Lewiston, Maine that killed at least 18 people and injured 13 more, a 4o year old suspected Army Reservist, Robert Card, is wanted. He is considered armed and extremely dangerous.

At a press conference, Maine Public Safety Commissioner Mike Sauschuck was asked if Card was still alive. He replied testily, saying: “Well, we're actively searching for him. If I knew the answers to those questions, then this would be a different press conference, I would assume. So we don't know his location, and I'll leave it at that. And we are working with the Attorney General's office to reference those questions.” As reporters peppered Sauschuck with questions, he put up a finger and said, “So with that in mind, we're done taking questions for now. So we are going to actually take off at this point. Thank you very much for being here. I appreciate that.”

As he left the stage, reporters yelled “Have there been any credible sightings?” and “So, we've not really gotten any answers.”
