While speaking to supporters in Nashua, New Hampshire, after winning the state’s Republican primary Tuesday night, former President Donald Trump attacked his opponent Nikki Haley, even calling the former South Carolina governor and UN ambassador an “imposter.”
“I said, I can go up and I can say to everybody, ‘Oh, thank you for the victory, it’s wonderful.’ Or I can go up and say, ‘Who the hell was the imposter that went up on the stage before and claimed a victory?’ She did very poorly, actually. She had to win,” Trump told the crowd.
“The governor said, ‘She’s gonna win, she’s gonna win, she’s gonna win.’ Then she failed badly,” the former president said, referring to Gov. Chris Sununu (R-NH), who campaigned for Haley.
“Now I have here — if he promises to do it in a minute or less — but the only person more angry than, let’s say me — but I don’t get too angry; I get even,” Trump added while gearing up to introduce former 2024 candidate Vivek Ramaswamy to speak.
