It’s time to talk about America’s true pastime, if ratings are anything to go by: football! LZ and Will gush about the weekend’s four Divisional Round games, which made for the most thrilling weekend in the recent history of the NFL playoffs. All four games ended on their final play — the first three with high pressure field goal kicks, and the last with a clutch touchdown. The average margin of victory was a nail-biting 3.8 points per game, the lowest in NFL playoff history for a round with at least four games.

LZ and Will also judge the quarterbacks’ performances — arguing that despite his loss, Buffalo Bills passer Josh Allen bested his counterpart Patrick Mahomes. They also revisit the scoreboard in their one-on-one draft competition, and make their predictions for the next round: the NFL Conference Championships. The Cincinnati Bengals face off against Mahomes’ Kansas City Chiefs, and the San Francisco 49ers see if they can extend their streak against their Californian rivals (and LZ’s dearest team), the Los Angeles Rams.
